CEMENT ADDITIVES » FLUID LOSS ADDITIVES
GFL 1 Organic polymer, fluid loss additive/retarder; maintains the water-to-solids ratio in cement slurries during application across permeable zones or through narrow annulus; optimum temperature range is from 150°F (65°C) to 220°F (105°C); normal concentration is 0.2 to 1.0% BWOC.
GFL 2 Organic polymer, fluid loss additive for salt slurries; maintains the water-to-solids ratio in salt cement slurries during application across permeable zones or through narrow annulus up to 37.2% BWOW; effective to 212°F (100°C); normal concentration is 0.5 to 1.2% BWOC.
GFL 3 Organic, polymer blend, fluid loss additive for fresh or saltwater slurries; maintains the water-to-solids ratio in cement slurries during application across permeable zones or through narrow annulus up to 18% BWOW; optimum temperature range is 125°F (52°C); to 220°F (105°C); normal concentration is 0.8 to 1.5% BWOC.
GFL 4 Selected organic polymer, fluid loss additive for low density cement slurries; maintains the water-to-solids ratio in cement slurries during application across permeable zones or through narrow annulus(12.0 to 14.5 lb./gal); effective to 212°F (100°C); normal concentration is 0.6% to 2.0% BWOC.
GFL 5 Selected organic polymer, blend fluid loss additive; maintains the water-to-solids ratio in a cement slurry during application across permeable zones or through narrow annulus; has an optimum temperature range of 155°F (70°C) to 285°F (140°C), normal concentration is 1.0 to 2.0% BWOC.
GFL 200 Fluid loss additive, liquid; maintains the water-to-solids ratio in a cement slurry during application across permeable zones or through narrow annulus; optimum temperature range is 150°F (65°C) to 220°F (105°C); normal concentration is 0.5 to 1.2 gal/sk.
GFL 300 High temperature, fluid loss additive, liquid; maintains the water-to-solids ratio in cement slurries during application across permeable zones or through narrow annulus; optimum temperature range is 175°F (80°C) to 330°F (165°C); normal concentration is 0.25 to 0.65 gal/sk.
